Carl Sheehan of Fire Hole Pottery has been working a professional potter in Montana since 1978. His most recent design motifs are a reflection of the ever changing palette of colors in the vast Montana landscape and his many years of observing wildlife in and around Yellowstone Park. Each piece of "thrown" pottery is glazed and fired in a gas kiln to a temperature of 2340F. All pottery is food safe, lead free and may be used in a microwave and dishwasher.
